Welcome to the KCN Teens Ministry pages! Youth HUB is the ministry of students grades 7-12. We hope you come check out Youth Worship at 9:30am at 'The HUB'.

Our High school students participate in ministry internships at the church. Opportunities include teaching in the children's classes, mentoring junior high ministry, baristas at the coffee cart, sound and video technology and joining the Welcome Team. Please email Pastor Cathy for more details.

We understand that before a young person becomes spiritually aware, they need to be socially comfortable. Therefore, we are constantly interested in being a community where teens feel safe and secure.

We are interested in knowing people's story and how they see life. More importantly we are interested in knowing God's story for that is where each of us discover our true identity. We desire for people to find ways that God's story connects with them. We want to be more than just a "youth group." We want to live up to the name "youth ministry" by actively serving others in the name of Christ. Everyone a minister.

Teen Small Groups

What happens at a Small Group?
Friends come together to have fun, pray for one another, and spend time studying how to be more Christ-like in their everyday life. It not like you just sit and listen to someone preach. If you want, you can offer your ideas about God and share your story!! Come try it out and bring a friend. It's a lot of fun and it's a comfortable place for you and your friends. Small groups meet during the school year.

Junior High HUB - Grades 7 - 9
Meets Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Kirkland Church of the Nazarene for games, friends, worship and a message. This is a high energy, totally junior high-focused night where students from all over the Eastside come to have a great time to hang out and find out who this Jesus guy is.
Drop-off is in the back alley behind the church at the painted back door - then follow the arrows in the parking lot! Students are walking in off the streets to see what is going on in our HUB basement!! Don't miss out on the fun!

High School HUB - Grades 10 - 12
Meets on Sunday night from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Charlie and Debra Voelker's house in North Juanita (13927 94th Ave NE). Eastside students walk right in, raid the fridge, and master pinball before gathering for a time of worship, prayer, and search through the Bible for relevant answers to life's questions.
