Celebration Choir

The Celebration Choir is a ministry of the church providing a place of worship and musical participation for adults and teenagers. For the past several years the Celebration Choir has presented seasonal musical and drama presentations for both Christmas and Easter as well as music for other special events in the life of our church. When in session, the choir meets on Wednesday evenings for a time of prayer, worship and rehearsal. A note from the director, Melony Harter, regarding the purpose and vision for the choir ministry… “Choir practice isn’t just preparation for a performance. It is worship. If we are walking with Him 24/7 in an attitude of worship and obedience in everything that we do, He will be pleased with our efforts and His joy will be reflected in our countenance. Even though we want to offer our best to Him by practicing, He doesn’t care if we know all the words and notes perfectly if our hearts are bowed to Him. He will be here as much in the first rehearsal as He will be in our last performance for He inhabits our praise…”
